Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

INSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel cluster (IPC) trim plate.
2. Remove the electrical connection at the air temperature sensor.




3. Remove the air temperature sensor from the aspirator hose.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the air temperature sensor to the aspirator hose.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the air temperature sensor is sealed to the instrument panel cluster trim plate in order prevent sampling the air behind the dash.

2. Connect the electrical connector for the sensor.
3. Install the IPC trim plate.
