Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement
Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Disconnect the engine oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the engine oil pressure.
^ Tighten the engine oil pressure sensor to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the engine oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Fill the crankcase as necessary.
