Steering Wheel HVAC Control Assembly Replacement



STEERING WHEEL HVAC CONTROL ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the steering wheel.
2. Remove the three screws (2, 3) securing the rear cover (1).
3. Remove the rear cover (1).




4. Disconnect the HVAC control electrical connector.
5. Use a small blade tool in order to remove the HVAC control switch from the steering wheel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the HVAC control electrical connector.
2. Install the steering wheel HVAC control switch.




3. Install the steering wheel rear cover (1).

Tighten the rear cover screws (2, 3) to 3 N.m (26.5 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the steering wheel.
