Window Regulator Replacement - Midgate

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the midgate inner panel.
2. Remove the midgate window.




3. Disconnect the midgate window regulator electrical connector (1).
4. Remove the midgate window position switch (2) from the window regulator.
5. Remove the nuts retaining the window regulator to the midgate.




6. Remove the regulator from the midgate.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the regulator to the midgate.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nuts retaining the window regulator to the midgate.

Tighten the window regulator nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the midgate window position switch (2) to the window regulator.
4. Connect the window regulator electrical connector (1).
5. Install the midgate window.
6. Check and adjust the midgate window alignment to the weatherstrip channel.
7. Install the midgate inner panel.
