Pressure Relief Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement ().
3. Pull back the right rear compartment trim panel as needed. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Use a small, flat-bladed tool to release the snaps on the pressure relief valve. Apply pressure at two upper locations and two lower locations.




5. Remove the pressure relief valve from the lower quarter panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the pressure relief valve in the lower quarter panel.
2. Press the pressure relief valve into the quarter lower panel until the snaps lock into place at the upper and lower locations.
3. Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement ().
5. Close the rear compartment.
