Rear Disc Brake Backing Plate Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the wheel bearing/hub (3). Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (Rear Suspension).

Important: The backing plate (2) is attached to the knuckle (1) through the wheel bearing hub bolts (4).


2. Remove the backing plate (2) from the knuckle (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the backing plate (2) to the knuckle (1).
2. Install the wheel bearing/hub (3). Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (Rear Suspension).
