Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Lower the window to the full down position.
3. Remove the window belt inner sealing strip by lifting it off the pinch-weld flange.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the window belt inner sealing strip to the door flange.
Engage each end of the window belt inner sealing strip by pressing firmly onto the front and the rear ends of the pinch-weld flange.

Important:
* Ensure the front end of the strip is inserted into the gap formed by the window weatherstrip and the door inner panel.

* Ensure the rear end of the strip is flush to the rear leg of the window weatherstrip but not interfering with the path of the window.


2. Firmly seat the entire length of the sealing strip.
3. Inspect the window for proper operation.
4. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
