Balancer Chain Guide Replacement - Upper

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the water pump and balance shaft chain. Refer to Water Pump and Balance Shaft Chain Replacement Water Pump and Balance Shaft Chain Replacement.





2. Remove the 2 balancer chain guide bolts (2) and the balancer chain guide - upper (1).

Installation Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the balancer chain guide - upper (1) and the 2 balancer chain guide bolt (2) and tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb in).

2. Install the water pump and balance shaft chain. Refer to Water Pump and Balance Shaft Chain Replacement Water Pump and Balance Shaft Chain Replacement.
