Some 1981 through 1985 DFI equipped vehicles may experience an intermittent reduction of
power and/or engine stops running due to intermittent injector circuit operation. The following
trouble trees should be used when attempting to diagnose such a condition. In some cases, it
may be necessary to operate the vehicle and record the voltages as outlined, while the
performance condition exists.
