SUBJECT: SERVICE REPLACEMENT TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY (SRTA) PART NUMBERS - 4T60 (440-T4), THM 200-4R, 3T40, 4T60-E, 4L60


This bulletin supersedes DSIB 91-I-4 which should be discarded.


The following SRTA unit part number list indicates what model numbers are available from GMSPO and which units they replace. A description of the application is provided where possible.

NOTES:


^ All SRTA units are designed and remanufactured to current engineering specifications.


^ SRTA models should only be considered when the projected cost of repair exceeds the cost of a SRTA replacement.


^ Cooler flushing must be performed whenever a transmission is removed for service.


IMPORTANT: Beginning with the 1990 model, GMSPO does not automatically consider every SRTA order "VIP" status. To expedite delivery you must specify "VIP" on your order, regardless of model year.
