Oil Pressure Check

OIL PRESSURE CHECK

1. Check transmission oil level.

2. Check and adjust throttle valve cable.

3. Check outside manual linkage and correct, if necessary.

4. Make sure engine is operating properly.

5. Connect oil pressure gauge to transmission and tachometer to engine.





6. To check minimum throttle valve line pressure, set T.V. cable to specification, then with brakes applied, transmission in range specified and engine at specified speed, check pressures according to chart, see image.

7. To check full throttle valve line pressure, tie or hold T.V. cable to the full extent of its travel, then with brakes applied, transmission in range specified and engine at specified speed, check pressures according to chart, see image above step 6.
