Code B449 is designed to disengage the A/C compressor clutch in the event that high side refrigerant temperature (BCM data parameter BD27) exceeds 93°C (199°F). The A/C compressor will re-engage and the code will be stored as a history code when the high side temperature falls below 87°C.
