Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

Fuel Tank Assembly:

Fuel Level Sender/Pump Removal:

REMOVAL

1. Remove the fuel tank, refer to FUEL TANK AND FUEL LEVEL SENDING ASSEMBLY.
2. Remove the cam lock using wrench J 24187.
3. Remove the fuel sender/pump unit and gasket. Discard the gasket.
4. Remove the fuel pump from the sending unit.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the fuel pump into the sending unit.
2. Install the fuel sender/pump unit into the fuel tank using a new O-ring seal.
3. Install the cam lock.
4. Install the fuel tank.
