J: Service Air Conditioner Indicator Does Not Turn Off

NOTE: This test should only be performed if the A/C refrigerant system is in good working condition.

Disconnect Body Computer Module (BCM) connector C1. Put the Ignition Switch in RUN.

^ If the SERVICE AIR COND Indicator goes out, check the Refrigerant Low Side Temperature Sensor, GRY (731) wire and and BLK/PNK (736) wire (see schematic in Heating and Air Conditioning). If OK, replace the BCM. Heating and Air Conditioning

^ If the SERVICE AIR COND Indicator does not go out, check the WHT (721) wire for a short to ground. Check that connector C200 is mated correctly.
