A-3 Addressing Problem

Chart A-3:

OSM Adress Error:

DESCRIPTION:

Code L202, along with L203, L206, or L210 indicates a loss of power to an OSM address pin. When such an addressing failure exists on pin F of OSM #3, pin D of OSM #6, or pin C of OSM #10, its address becomes the same as that of OSM #2. Therefore, when the BCM sends a command on the data line to OSM #2, both OSM #2 and the mis-addressed OSM try to respond resulting in a lighting fault. During such an addressing failure when the BCM sends a command to the mis-addressed OSM, a lighting fault occurs because there isn't an OSM available to respond to the command. The table below lists the CCDIC messages and symptoms of these conditions.
