A-6 Addressing Problem

Chart A-6:

OSM Adress Error:

DESCRIPTION:

Code L207 indicates loss of power to an address pin on OSM #7. When OSM #7 loses power to pin D, its address is the same as OSM #3. Loss of power to pin E makes the OSM #7 address the same as that of OSM #5, and loss of power to pin F makes the OSM #7 address the same as that of OSM #6. When the BCM sends a command to an address on the data line and two OSM's try to respond, the result is a lighting fault. During such an address failure, when the BCM sends a command on the data line to the address of OSM #7 (the mis-addressed OSM), there is no response by any of the OSM's which also results in a lighting fault.
