"__" Displayed In Outside Temp

If the outside temperature sensor fails, "--" will be displayed in the outside temperature display on the IPC. This symptom will also appear if serial data communications from the IPC to the Air Conditioning Programmer (ACP) fail. This symptom should be diagnosed by retrieving and diagnosing the outside temperature A010 or serial data 037/A037 trouble codes.
