Diagnostic Chart:
Wiring Diagram:
TEST CONDITIONS:
The RSS module monitors the Boost circuit after a commanded off to on state. The module expects to see the circuit low.
FAULT CONDITIONS:
If the RSS module sees the circuit high, a code is set.
ACTION TAKEN:
Set code, turn on "SERVICE RIDE CONTROL" message, disable affected solenoid, all other dampers will operate normally.
DESCRIPTION:
Solenoid errors are detected via the boost and hold feedback signals. The RSS module continually monitors these signals and compares the feedback to the requested boost or hold signal. This code will set when the boost feedback signal does not match the commanded signal.
NOTES ON FAULT TREE:
1. To diagnose this condition:
Enter output cycling,
Manipulate affected wiring,
Recheck for codes.
DO NO BACKPROBE SENSORS OR DAMPERS
WHEN ALL DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIRS ARE COMPLETE, CLEAR CODES AND VERIFY OPERATION.
