Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.

Resume/Accel Switch

This switch has two positions. When switch is momentarily moved toward the R/A position after braking, cruise control operation will be returned to last set speed.
If switch is held in R/A position for more than 1 second, the system reverts to the Accel mode. To accelerate vehicle, move switch to R/A position and hold until vehicle reaches desired increased speed. When switch is released, speed vehicle has accelerated to becomes new cruise speed. In order to use Accel mode, the cruise instrument panel switch must be in On position and vehicle speed must be above 25 mph.

Tap Up Position
This feature allows the cruise speed to be increased in 1 mph increments up to 10 mph by quickly pressing switch toward R/A position and quickly releasing switch.
