Cruise Control Circuit:

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This code indicates that cruise control and traction control are active at the same time. If such condition is detected by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), Code P069 is set and the cruise control will be disengaged.

TEST CONDITION
Cruise control engaged.

FAILURE CONDITION
Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) serial data indicates traction control active for 0.5 second.

ACTION TAKEN
PCM disables cruise control.

DIAGNOSTIC CHECKS
^ This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when traction control and cruise control are active at the same time.
^ If DTC P069 sets, cruise control will be disengaged.
^ Check for traction control codes.
^ Most cases of DTC PO69 are caused by wheel spin under icy wet, or slippery conditions while cruise active.
^ If no other cruise control or traction control faults exist, clear codes and verify correct cruise and traction control operation.
