Vehicle Access Code
To perform any operation, the RKE module must receive a valid vehicle access code (VAC) from the transmitter. If IGN1 and ACC1 are both in the inactive state, the RKE module turns on the vehicle interior or courtesy lamps in response to getting a valid VAC from the transmitter. The interior lamps will remain on until one of the following conditions is met:^ A Class 2 message is received indicating at least one door is open via the door jamb switch (the interior lights will still remain on due to dome lamp switch contacts).
^ IGN1 or ACC1 inputs become active.
^ A lock switch active for all doors Class 2 message is received.
^ A lock all doors command is received over the UHF link.
^ 15 seconds has elapsed.
