Starter Motor Installation

1. Place the starter motor in position in the engine valley.
2. Install the two starter motor retaining bolts. Tighten the starter motor retaining bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





3. Install the knock sensor (1). Tighten the knock sensor (1) to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).





4. Connect the knock sensor wire lead.
