Interval (Pulse) Operation
With the ignition switch in the ON position, B+ is applied to terminal 8 of the windshield wiper motor relay K8. B+ is also applied to terminal 4 of the windshield wiper and
windshield washer switch. With the windshield wiper and windshield washer switch in the INTERVAL position, B+ is applied to terminal 6 of the interval switch. The interval switch then sends a voltage signal to terminal 1 of the windshield wiper motor relay K8. The windshield wiper motor relay K8 interprets this signal as the time of delay for the wipers. The windshield wiper motor relay K8 outputs B+ from terminal 2 to terminal 8 of the windshield wiper switch. The windshield wiper switch then applies the voltage through circuit B7 to terminal A of the windshield wiper motor. The length of delay time is determined by the voltage signal the windshield wiper motor relay k8 receives from the interval switch.
