B1556 - EEPROM Odo/Configuration Error
CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTCThe odometer portion of the IPC EEPROM has an unrecoverable error and is no longer accurate. The odometer portion of the IPC EEPROM is the portion that stores the vehicle mileage.
ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
ERROR is displayed in the season odometer display.
DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
The IPC must be replaced. Refer to the most recent service information in order to obtain an approximate mileage and contact an authorized service center. The failed IPC may be used by the service center in order to obtain the approximate odometer data for the replacement IPC.
