Temperature Sensor Replacement - Low Side

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 39500-B A/C Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling, and Recharging (ACR4) System

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
3. Unscrew the sensor from the refrigerant line.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 39400-A Electronic Halogen Leak Detector

1. Install the sensor to the refrigerant line.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
3. Recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
4. Leak test the system. Refer to Leak Testing.
