CHANGE TRANS FLUID Message

Important: This number portion of the IPC message will display ????, if there is a loss of PCM communications.

The PCM calculates the trans fluid life index and sends the information to the IPC via the Class 2 serial data line. Trans fluid life displays as XXX% TRANS FLUID LEFT, where ### represents the approximate percentage of useful fluid life remaining. When the trans fluid left index is 10 percent or less, the IPC displays the CHANGE TRANS FLUID message.


Note: Reset the transaxle fluid change indicator when the fluid has been changed, even if the CHANGE TRANS FLUID message didn't come on.


Resetting Procedure
1. Press the INFO button on the DIC control panel in order to display the TRANS FLUID LIFE message.

2. Press and hold the INFO RESET button until the display shows 100%.
