Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair





REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle and support.
2. Remove the electrical connector at the cranksensor.
3. Remove the retaining bolt (1) and cranksensor (2 or 3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the cranksensor (2 or 3) and the retaining bolt (1).

Tighten
Tighten the retaining bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Install the electrical connector at the cranksensor.
3. Lower the vehicle.
