DTC B1000 RFA Internal Fault (Self Test Failed):

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The RKE module runs this internal self-test at power up. This test will only be run if B1982-Battery voltage high or B1983-Battery voltage low are not current. This DTC will set as a current DTC only but will show up as test not passed since last cleared on the scan tool.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING DTC
The RKE module will set this DTC if it fails the internal Read Only Memory (ROM) to Random Access Memory (RAM) write test.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
The RKE module stores a DTC B1000 as current. No driver warning message is displayed for this DTC.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING DTC
The RKE module clears this DTC after the power up self-test is passed.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
This DTC will stay in memory until the power up self-test is passed. The DTC will show a test not passed since last cleared on the scan tool.
