Power Door Locks Operation

LOCKING
Setting the LH or RH front side door lock switch to the LOCK position locks all the doors.

UNLOCKING
Setting the LH or RH front side door lock switch to the UNLOCK position unlocks all the doors.

CENTRAL DOOR UNLOCKING
The driver door has a key disarm driver switch. Using the key disarm driver switch provides an input to the BCM. The BCM uses this input to activate the central door unlock feature. Only the driver door unlocks if the key in the door key cylinder is rotated to the unlock position and held for less than 1.5 seconds. All vehicle doors unlock and the fuel door unlocks if the key is held in place for more than 1.5 seconds.

AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKS
When the transmission is shifted out of the PARK position, all of the side door lock actuators activate and lock all of the doors.

When the transmission is shifted into the PARK position, all of the side door lock actuators activate and unlock all of the doors.
