Compact Disc Player (CD): Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the compact disc (CD) player (2).
2. Remove the 2 bolts (1) from the floor bracket at the front of the CD player.




3. Slide the CD player (4) forward in order to remove the player.
4. Remove the CD player from the mounting bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the compact disc (CD) player to the mounting bracket.
2. Slide the tabs on the bracket (3) into the slots in the floor.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notices in Service Precautions.




3. Install the 2 bolts (1) to the front of the bracket into the floor.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

4. Connect the electrical connector (3).
