Temperature Sensor Replacement - Low Side (Low Side)

TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT - LOW SIDE (LOW SIDE)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
^ J 39500-B A/C Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging (ACR4) System
^ J 39400-A Electronic Halogen Leak Detector




1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. Service and Repair
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
3. Remove the sensor (11) from the refrigerant line (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the sensor (11) to the refrigerant line (1).

Tighten
Tighten the sensor to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).

2. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
3. Recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. Service and Repair
4. Leak test the A/C system. Refer to Leak Testing. Leak Testing
