BATTERY NOT CHARGING
The
IPC monitors the alternator L terminal input on IPC connector C1 terminal A9. The IPC uses the input in order to determine when to set IPC DTC B191 1 current. The IPC uses this input when the L terminal is low and the engine runs over 600 RPM for more than
2 seconds. If the alternator is not charging, the L terminal input is low (ground). If the alternator is charging, the L terminal input is at the ignition voltage. When DTC B1911 is set current, the IPC displays the message and illuminates the battery indicator.
