The ACCELERATE Function

Use the ACCELERATE function in order to steadily increase the cruise speed. In order for the ACCELERATE function to operate, the following conditions must apply:
^ The ON/OFF switch must be in the ON position
^ The vehicle speed must be above 40 km/h (25 mph).

Use the ACCELERATE function as follows to increase the vehicle speed:
1. Slide the RESUME/ACCELERATE switch. Hold the switch in position.
2. Accelerate the vehicle to the desired speed.
3. Release the RESUME/ACCELERATE switch. The cruise control is now reset at the higher speed.

The ACCELERATE function will not operate unless the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position
