REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the sound insulator.
2. Remove the Instrument Panel (IP) compartment.
3. Remove the Dash Integration Module (DIM).
4. Remove the 2 rear DIM bracket fasteners.
5. Reposition the DIM bracket in order to gain access to the [1][2]blower control module.




6. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector (2).




7. Disconnect the [1][2]blower control module electrical connector.




8. Remove the [1][2]blower control module retaining fastener (1).
9. Remove the [1][2]blower control module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the [1][2]blower control module.
2. Install the [1][2]blower control module retaining fastener (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Torque the fasteners to 1.4 N.m (12 lb ft).




3. Connect the [1][2]blower control module electrical connector.




4. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (2).




5. Reposition the DIM bracket to its original position.
6. Install the 2 rear DIM bracket fasteners.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Service Precautions

Tighten
Torque the fasteners to 1.4 N.m (12 lb ft).

7. Install the DIM.
8. Install the IP compartment.
9. Install the right sound insulator.
