Diagnostic Self-Test Features - Navigation System

ACCESSING THE DIAGNOSIS MENU SCREEN
To enter the navigation self-diagnostic mode, perform the following procedure:
1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine off.
2. Press and hold the audio adjust button on the navigation radio for five seconds. The navigation radio beeps once and the Password Input screen appears on the display.
3. Enter 1 9 7 1 as the password with the keypad softkeys on the display.
4. The navigation self-diagnostic main menu, titled Diagnosis Menu, appears on the display.

EXITING THE DIAGNOSIS MENU SCREEN
To exit the navigation self-diagnostic mode, perform one of the following procedures:
^ Press and hold for two seconds the area at the upper right corner of the navigation radio display.
^ Turn OFF the ignition, then open and close a door.
