Instrument Cluster Odometer Operation

The IPC contains a season odometer and two trip odometers. The IPC calculates the mileage based on the vehicle speed signal circuit from the PCM. The odometer will display 'error' if an internal IPC memory failure is detected. The odometer displays either miles or kilometers as requested by briefly pressing the ENG/MET button on the Driver Information Center (DIC). Pressing the RESET TRIP A/B button for greater than 2 seconds will reset the trip odometer that is displayed.
