Air Temperature Door Replacement - Right

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the HVAC Module.
2. Remove the mode actuator.
3. Remove the recirculation door.
4. Disconnect the air temperature actuator assembly electrical connector (2).
5. Remove the air temperature actuator assembly screws (1).




6. Remove the air temperature actuator assembly (1).




7. Disconnect the left temperature actuator actuator electrical connector.
8. Remove the left temperature actuator screws (1).




9. Remove the left temperature actuator.




10. Remove the upper module case fasteners.
11. Peel back the foam at the heater inlet.




12. Remove the upper case.




13. Remove the middle module screws.
14. Remove the middle module.




15. Remove the right temperature door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the right temperature door.




2. Install the HVAC middle module.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the middle module screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).




4. Install the upper module case.
5. Install the upper module case screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).




6. Reapply the foam at the heater inlet.




7. Install the left air temperature actuator.




8. Install the left air temperature actuator screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

9. Install the left air temperature actuator electrical connector.




10. Install the air temperature actuator assembly (1) to the HVAC module.




11. Install the air temperature actuator assembly screws (i).

Tighten
Tighten the screws (1) to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

12. Install the mode actuator.
13. Install the recirculation door. Recirculation Door Replacement.
14. Install the HVAC module.
15. Recalibrate the actuators. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (DIM) or Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (IPM) or Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (RIM) in Body Control System.
