Shift Lever - Assemble - Off Vehicle (Manual Tilt, Column Shift)





1. Install the shift lever seal (3) onto the shift lever (1).
2. Install the shift lever (1) into the shift lever clevis.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the shift lever screw (2).
^ Tighten the shift lever screw to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
4. Slide the shift lever seal (3) down the shift lever (1).
5. Install the upper and lower trim cover.
6. Install the steering column into the vehicle.
7. Install the steering wheel onto the steering column.
8. Enable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
