Important: Use new cylinder head bolts. The required tightening method stretches the bolts, therefore the cylinder head bolts are not reusable.

Installing the new cylinder head bolts.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) on the first pass.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 90 degrees using the J 36660-A.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 90 degrees using the J 36660-A.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 90 degrees using the J 36660-A.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 15 degrees using the J 36660-A.

Important: Use new cylinder head bolts. The required tightening method stretches the bolts, therefore the cylinder head bolts are not reusable.

Installing the new cylinder head bolts.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) on the first pass.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts 90 degrees using the J 36660-A.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts 90 degrees using the J 36660-A.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts 90 degrees using the J 36660-A.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts 15 degrees using the J 36660-A.

Intake Manifold Flange Bolts Tightening Sequence:

Intake Manifold Flange Bolts 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)


Throttle Body Bolt 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)







Intake Manifold Bolts 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)



EXHAUST MANIFOLD

Exhaust Manifold Nuts
(Right & Left) 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)



CAMSHAFT BEARING CAP
