Condition 1

Some customers may comment that the cigar lighter and accessory power will shut off ten minutes after the ignition is turned off.

Condition 2

Some customers may comment that after the ignition is shut off, the cigar lighter and accessory power outlet will remain on.

Correction 1

On DeVille and Seville

Move fuse 22 and/or fuse 23 to the outer position in the Bussed Electrical Center.

The cigar lighter and accessory plugs will have power at all times.

On CTS

Move the IP outlet and outlet fuse to the open cavity next to each fuse in the under hood Bussed Electrical Center. The cigar lighter and accessory plugs will have power at all times.

Correction 2

On SRX

Important:
For vehicles built after the VIN breakpoints shown, the cigar relay will have to be installed, except for the CTS on which the procedure can not be performed.

Move the IP outlet and outlet fuse to the outboard position in the under hood Bussed Electrical center and install the cigar relay. This will allow the system to time out after the ignition is off for ten minutes.

On CTS

Important:
This procedure can not be performed after the VIN break see the table above.
