Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the wheel and tire.
3. Remove the brake rotor.





4. Disconnect the ABS sensor wire electrical connector.





5. Remove the wheel bearing and hub retaining bolts.
6. Remove the wheel bearing and hub and dust shield.

Installation Procedure

Important: Clean the lower control arm face and bore before installing the wheel bearing and hub.





1. Install the dust shield and wheel bearing and hub to the lower control arm.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the wheel bearing and hub.
Tighten the wheel bearing and hub retaining bolts to 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the brake rotor.





4. Install the ABS sensor wire electrical connector.
5. Install the tire and wheel.
6. Lower the vehicle.
