Sensor Replacement - Seat Adjuster Motor - Vertical

SENSOR REPLACEMENT - SEAT ADJUSTER MOTOR - VERTICAL

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 or to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 in Restraint Systems.
2. Remove the seat.




3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the seat adjuster motor sensor (3).
4. Release the tabs and remove the sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the seat adjuster motor sensor to the motor.




2. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor (3).
3. Install the seat.
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 for driver's seat or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 in Restraint Systems.
5. Calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration Procedure.
