Rear Axle Heat Shield Replacement Removal Procedure 1.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2.
Using a
0.64 cm (0.25 inch) drill bit, drill the rear axle heat shield retaining rivets.
3.
Remove the rear axle heat shield.
Installation Procedure 1.
Using new rivets install the rear axle heat shield to the vehicle.
2.
Lower the vehicle.
