Headlamp Washer Spray Nozzle: Service and Repair

HEADLAMP WASHER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (CE4 W/TT6)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front bumper fascia (3).




2. Depress the tab (2) on the headlamp washer hose connection, in order to disconnect the headlamp washer hose (1).
3. Disconnect the hose from the retainer on the headlamp.
4. Remove the 2 screws (4) from the washer nozzle bracket.




5. Remove the headlamp washer nozzle assembly (2) from the headlamp housing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the headlamp washer nozzle assembly (2) to the headlamp housing.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the 2 screws (4) that retain the headlamp washer nozzle (2) to the headlamp housing.

Tighten
Tighten the screws (4) to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).




3. Connect the headlamp washer hose.
Engage the male end of the headlamp washer hose (1) into the female of the end of the headlamp washer hose (2) with a firm push.
4. Secure the hose to the retainer on the headlamp.




5. Install the front bumper fascia (3).
