Heater Core: Service and Repair

HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the HVAC module. Service and Repair
2. Remove the heater core pipe bracket screw.
3. Remove the heater core pipe bracket.

4. Remove the heater core out of the HVAC module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the heater core into the HVAC module.

2. Install the heater core pipe bracket.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the heater core pipe bracket screw.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

4. Install the HVAC module.
