Memory Positioning Switch: Service and Repair

MEMORY SEAT SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the inside door handle from the door trim panel.




3. Disconnect the memory seat switch (1) electrical connector (2).




4. Remove the fasteners (1) from the memory seat switch (2).
5. Remove the memory seat switch (2). from the door trim panel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the memory seat switch (2) to the door trim panel.
2. Install the memory seat switch fasteners (1), fully driven, seated, but not stripped.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the memory seat switch (1).
4. Install the inside door handle to the door trim panel.
5. Install the door trim panel.
