Barometric Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (BARO) SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the sensor electrical connector.




3. Remove the barometric pressure sensor bolt.
4. Remove the barometric pressure sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the barometric pressure sensor.
2. Install the barometric pressure sensor bolt.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the barometric pressure sensor bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Install the sensor electrical connector.
