Radio Antenna Module Cable Replacement

RADIO ANTENNA MODULE CABLE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the right side windshield garnish molding.
2. Remove the center pillar trim panel.
3. Remove the right rear sail panel.
4. Lower the headliner in order to gain access to the antenna cable along the right side of the vehicle. Refer to Headliner Replacement (w/CF5) Headliner Replacement (w/o CF5) Headliner Replacement (WC2, WC8) in Interior Trim.
5. Disconnect the antenna cable connection (1) in the front of the vehicle.




6. Disconnect the antenna cable (3) from the antenna module (1) located on the rear roof beam.




7. Remove the cable clips (3) from the roof beams.
8. Remove the antenna cable from the vehicle.
9. If the antenna cable is to be replaced, remove the antenna cable clips (3) from the antenna cable.The new antenna cable does not have clips (3)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. If the antenna cable is to being replaced, install the antenna cable clips (3) from the antenna cable removed from the vehicle.
2. Install the antenna cable to the roof beams with the clips (3).




3. Connect the radio antenna connection (1) at the front of the vehicle.




4. Connect the antenna cable (3) to the antenna module (1) at the rear of the vehicle.
5. Install the headliner.
6. Install the sail panel.
7. Install the windshield garnish molding.
