Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory Right

Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer toSIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Remove the IP (Instrument Panel) upper trim pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper (Standard Models) (Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Pad Replacement - Upper)Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper (WC2/WC8) (Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Pad Replacement - Upper With RPO WC2/WC8) .
2. Remove the IP cluster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Trim Panel Replacement) .
3. Remove the IP storage compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) (Instrument Panel Storage Compartment - Replacement) .
4. Remove the screws securing the right IP accessory trim panel (1) to the IP.




5. Partially remove the trim panel (1) in order to disconnect the hazard switch electrical connector.
6. Remove the right accessory trim panel (1).



Installation Procedure

1. Connect the electrical connector to the hazard switch.




2. Install the right accessory trim panel (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the trim panel screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the IP cluster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Trim Panel Replacement) .
5. Install the IP storage compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) (Instrument Panel Storage Compartment - Replacement) .
6. Install the IP upper trim pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper (Standard Models) (Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Pad Replacement - Upper)Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper (WC2/WC8) (Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Pad Replacement - Upper With RPO WC2/WC8) .
