WIRING HARNESS REPLACEMENT - INFLATABLE RESTRAINT - PASSENGER SEAT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Pull back the carpet on the right side of the console in order to access the wiring harness.
2. Pull the harness from under the carpet.
3. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) from the electrical connector.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
5. Remove the passenger seat inflatable restraint harness assembly (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the Passenger seat inflatable restraint harness assembly (2).
2. Connect the electrical connector (1).
3. Install the CPA to the electrical connector.
4. Tuck the harness behind the carpet on the right side of the console.
5. Reposition the carpet.
